Alisha Enterprise – Growing Nature, Ideas & Opportunities
Cultivating quality, sustainability, and new possibilities in Finland
The 2026 growing season has now come to an end, and our garden in Kangasala, Finland, is closed for the winter. During this growing season, we were pleased to supply our locally grown vegetables to Hewad, Insaf, Cindy, Kuopio Bazar, and Kohinoor Restaurant in Kangasala. We are grateful to these local businesses for supporting our small-scale production and giving us the opportunity to share our harvest with the local community. We look forward to the next growing season and to continuing our journey with fresh, locally grown food
Alisha Enterprise (3424838-9) began from a personal necessity — not as a large commercial venture. While living in Finland, I started growing vegetables primarily for my own family. It was a personal initiative rooted in the belief that although modern society has made us comfortable consumers within large systems, we still retain the ability — and sometimes the opportunity — to grow and produce for ourselves. Even small-scale farming reconnects us with something fundamental, practical, and independent. Over time, the harvest occasionally produced more than we needed. Rather than letting the surplus go to waste, I began sharing it within the local community and exploring opportunities to sell the surplus to local customers and small shops. This has allowed the initiative to gradually move beyond personal consumption while remaining small in scale and closely connected to local demand. The intention is to offer locally grown, fresh vegetables when there is suitable surplus, rather than operating as a large commercial producer. My interest in cultivation is also connected to a broader personal vision. I see my future lifestyle moving toward greater independence and self-sufficiency. Learning to grow food today is part of preparing for that future — both practically and personally. At present, Alisha Enterprise remains a small-scale initiative while I pursue my academic and professional goals in Finland. Its activities are limited and based primarily on personal cultivation, learning, community sharing, and the gradual development of local sales. The long-term intention is to engage more fully in the initiative after retirement, with greater focus on self-sufficiency, sustainable agriculture, local food production, and responsible long-term growth. The name “Enterprise” reflects a long-term vision. Step by step, the intention is to responsibly develop this foundation into a broader, multi-sector platform — potentially expanding into sustainable agriculture, local food trade, and other environmentally responsible areas in the future. Alisha Enterprise is built on patience, responsibility, and steady development — not rapid expansion.
